RADIOACTIVE ENERGY OVERDRIVE
Radioactive Energy Overdrive is a photographic collaboration with fellow classmate, designer, and collaborator Jack Johnson. For this project we experimented with long exposure photography with a singular light source in a dark environment. We found a dark boiler room in his apartment and used a singular red light to create a steampunk inspired environment that simulated a nuclear overreaction in a desolate power plant. We managed to capture moments that simulated streams of energy emitting from tanks in the boiler room and even managed to simulate other worldly portals opening as a result.
